Information before your register

Before commencing your online registration, please read the following instructions:

  • While we endeavour to provide the programme as advertised, changes may need to be made at short notice.
  • Please note that prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST.
  • A credit card is required to complete your registration. Payments can be made using the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 
  • If you are registering someone else on their behalf, please enter their email address in the email address field.

An automated email confirmation will be sent to the nominated email address upon completing the registration and payment. If you do not receive this email within 15 minutes, please check your spam/junk folder.

Please note that all registrations include: 

  • Attendance at programme sessions on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 2022
  • Optional activities on Thursday 27 October 2022
  • Paramanawa (tea breaks) and Tina (lunch) as per the programme
  • The overnight stay at Whangarā Marae includes Friday night's accommodation and kai (food)

Transport and overnight accommodation at Whangarā Marae

It is encouraged and all are welcome including children to stay onsite at the Whangara Marae Thursday 27 October.

Please check the box below if you do not wish to stay overnight at. Other accommodation options are available in Tūranga-nui-a-Kiwa (Gisborne) at your own expense.

Would you like to bring additional guests?

Due to the change in venue, we will be organising buses to assist attendees that are not arriving via their own transport to the marae, located 30 minutes north of Gisborne.

 

Meeting point for pick up and drop off will be located at the front of the Emerald Hotel Gisborne, 13 Gladstone Road, Gisborne.

Given the continued pandemic uncertainty, travel and gathering rules may change at short notice. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The Hui will only move ahead if the COVID-19 situation remains Level 1. If unwell, the attendee will confirm they are unable to attend in writing via email to events@acem.org.au. Payments Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘ACEM’. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact events@acem.org.au. Privacy During the process of registration, the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance. All personal information is gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. Insurance Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine will not cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the hui or for theft or damage to belongings. Liability The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine do not accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates in the course of the event. The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine takes no responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate. Security Your payment is processed through eWAY Payment Gateway. eWAY secures all your customer and credit-card data with military-grade software and servers, and the highest level of encryption available. Australasian College for Emergency Medicine will not store or transfer any of your credit card information. All data is transferred using eWAYs secure servers.
